About FinCalc India
FinCalc India is a free collection of 27 financial calculators made for people in India. Every tool works in Indian rupees, uses Indian financial terminology, and explains the formula behind the result.
What we try to do well
- Accuracy. Calculation logic is written and tested separately from the interface. Statutory values — PPF and EPF rates, income-tax slabs — are stored in one place, each labelled with the financial year and source, so they can be updated quickly when the government changes them.
- Speed. Pages are mostly static and server-rendered. Calculators run entirely in your browser and make no network calls.
- Clarity. Each calculator page shows the formula, a worked example and honest assumptions, not just a number.
What we are not
We are not advisers, brokers or agents. Nothing here is personalised financial, investment, tax or legal advice. The calculators are starting points for your own research and for a conversation with a qualified professional. See our disclaimer for the full position.
Keeping content current
Tax slabs, small-savings rates and similar figures change with government notifications and the annual Union Budget. We review the rate tables periodically and mark each calculator with the applicable financial year. If you spot something out of date, please tell us.
How the site is funded
The calculators are free. The site may show advertising via Google AdSense to cover hosting and maintenance. Ads are kept out of the calculator controls and are never disguised as site features. See our privacy policy for how advertising partners use cookies.
